Soraban (YC21) builds AI-powered Copilots and workflow automation for modern accounting firms. Our platform helps tax firms automate client intake, document processing, preparation workflows, and service delivery. We are looking for an experienced accountant (Contract) to help test and evaluate our end-to-end product flow.

• End-to-End Flow Testing:
  Test the entire workflow including client intake, data collection, document handling, preparation, review, delivery, and filing.
• Scenario Simulation:
  Simulate real-world scenarios based on actual work performed inside mid-market or large tax firms based on your experience.
• Gap and Edge Case Identification:
  Identify workflow conflicts, inefficiencies, missing steps, and areas where the system does not align with real firm processes.
• Structured Feedback and Documentation:
  Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve usability, accuracy, and workflow alignment with real firms. Document findings clearly and concisely.

• Hands-on experience with CCH Axcess or Pro System fx (must-have).
• Deep familiarity with tax workflow processes used by mid-market or large firms.
• Experience across the full tax lifecycle: onboarding, document intake, preparation, review, delivery, and filing.
• Ability to identify workflow gaps, inefficiencies, and edge cases.
• Ability to provide structured, detailed feedback on system behavior.

• Experience with Drake Tax or Lacerte.
• Experience with document automation tools.
• Familiarity with tech-enabled workflow systems or SaaS tax tools.

• Contract duration: 1–2 months to start, with potential for extension.
