AWS DevOps Engineer

AWS Dev Ops Engineer – Motion Recruitment (Tempe, AZ, hybrid)

We are seeking a mid‑level Dev Ops Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployments across a modern AWS environment while collaborating with developers, security, and product teams.

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Configure and manage AWS services (ECS/EKS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, RDS, S3).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Git Lab, or Jenkins.
• Implement Docker and Kubernetes solutions for scalable, reliable services.
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and security practices.
• Work onsite in Tempe 2–3 days per week.

• 3–6 years of Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM).
• Proficiency with Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux and Docker skills.
• Exposure to Kubernetes in production environments.
• Programming skills in Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
• Ability to work onsite in Tempe 2–3 days per week.

• Experience with EKS, Helm, or service mesh tools.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Knowledge of security automation or IAM best practices.
• Experience supporting microservices environments.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer, etc.) preferred.

• 40% Terraform / IaC
• 30% AWS Services (ECS/EKS, EC2, Lambda, VPC, RDS, S3)
• 20% CI/CD (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab, Jenkins, or similar)
• 10% Docker, Kubernetes, Linux

• Salary range: $120,000 - $210,000 (salary depends on experience).
