Project Manager, IT Project Manager, IT Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. You will oversee strategic planning and execution of technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and Agile Release Train standards.

Rate Range: $46/hour to $48/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager job responsibilities include:

* Oversee strategic planning, coordination, and execution of technology-focused projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

* Lead Program Increment (PI) Planning and Agile Release Train (ART) activities, driving readiness and prioritization of features in collaboration with product management and system architects.

* Manage multiple teams and projects, providing direction, support, and resource allocation to optimize utilization and balance workloads.

* Develop and implement risk management plans, conduct regular assessments, and deploy mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.

* Ensure compliance with SDLC standards and Agile practices, while championing continuous improvement through Inspect & Adapt sessions and retrospectives.

* Engage with stakeholders and leadership, maintaining effective communication and alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

* Minimum 8+ years of experience in project/program management within technology delivery environments.

* Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, including leading PI Planning and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.

* Strong ability to manage multiple teams and projects, drive risk management strategies, and ensure compliance with SDLC standards.

Pay Details: $46.00 to $48.00 per hour
