Snell & Wilmer is currently seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist in the Phoenix office. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance employees’ software skills. The specialist will create training materials, provide software instruction, and support ongoing learning initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Software Training
    • Conduct training sessions on software functionalities, features, and best practices.
    • Develop training materials such as presentations, exercises, and demonstrations.
    • Customize programs to meet the needs of different audiences.
    • Assess training effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Documentation Creation
    • Create and maintain user manuals, guides, tutorials, and other documentation.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and developers for accurate content.
    • Organize technical information into clear, concise formats.
    • Update documentation to reflect software changes.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Review existing documentation and training materials.
    • Conduct usability testing of materials and documentation.
    • Provide feedback to product development for user experience improvements.
  • Knowledge Transfer
    • Serve as a resource for internal teams and users.
    • Foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software training, instructional design, or technical writing.
  • Strong proficiency in creating engaging training materials such as presentations, videos, and tutorials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with industry‑standard documentation tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Firm’s technology systems through ongoing training.
  • Utilize IT ticketing system to provide support with documentation, FAQs, instructions, procedures, and knowledge‑based articles.
  • Provide training to the firm’s facilities management provider as requested.
  • Always provide the highest level of service and satisfaction.
