About the Role:
We are seeking a mid-level Service Now Developer to join our client’s growing IT team in the Phoenix area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where you will design, configure, and maintain Service Now solutions that support IT service management and operations across a large-scale enterprise. You’ll collaborate with senior developers and architects to implement best practices while gaining exposure to complex financial services environments.
- Configure, customize, and develop Service Now applications, workflows, forms, and business rules.
- Support ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and other core Service Now modules.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Integrate Service Now with third-party systems and enterprise applications.
- Perform routine administration, updates, and maintenance of the Service Now platform.
- Test and troubleshoot new and existing functionality, ensuring platform stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and end-users to improve service delivery.
- 3–5 years of Service Now development and configuration experience.
- Hands‑on experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
- Familiarity with ITOM modules (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management) preferred.
- Scripting experience with JavaScript, Glide, and Service Now APIs.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and how they align with Service Now functionality.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Exposure to cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
