Info Security Risk Analyst – Tri West Healthcare Alliance
Remote work opportunities available for the following states: AK, AR, AZ, CO, FL, HI, IA, , IL, KS, LA, MD, MN, MO, MT, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA/DC, WA, WI & WY.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and a favorably adjudicated Department of Defense background investigation. Veterans, Reservists, Guardsmen and military family members are encouraged to apply.
Job SummaryApply basic information security principles to identify, manage, and report risks associated with enterprise IT infrastructure. Facilitate assessments, analyze systems, manage communication, mitigation, and remediation efforts, and report progress to ensure completion.
Education & Experience Required:- High school diploma or GED
- U.S. citizen
- Admission of favorable interim and final Department of Defense background investigation
- At least one year of general technical support experience or Associate’s degree
- Basic information security knowledge and understanding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Effective oral and written communication at all organization levels
- Knowledge of HITRUST, HIPAA, NIST 800‑53 or 800‑171
- Participate in and complete assigned tasks in security project planning and execution.
- Apply foundational information security principles to identify and manage risks associated with enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Support assessments and analyses to pinpoint potential risks.
- Communicate risk findings and support mitigation efforts.
- Assist the IS Security Team to meet VA and NIST requirements and Tri West contractual obligations.
- Monitor and report on progress of communication, training, and remediation.
- Assist with recurring auditing and validation reports of maintained systems.
- Ensure timely completion of risk-related initiatives.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Facilitate training programs to enhance awareness of information security risks.
