Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a contract position located in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in SQL, cloud-based data engineering, and experience building robust, scalable data pipelines.

$53.03 – $68.18 per hour on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and workflows for high-volume data processing.
• Automate processes to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Implement robust monitoring and observability practices using tools like Grafana.
• Continuously optimize data pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools such as Dataflow and Dataplex.
• Experience with public cloud platforms and distributed systems architecture.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Grafana for operational visibility.
• Strong data modeling and data warehousing skills with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

$53.03 to $68.18 per hour.
