Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a 6+ contract position with a client located in Phoenix, AZ.
Pay Range: $25/hr - $30/hr (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Position Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person requests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware, Windows, Linux, and basic scripting.
- Document, track, and monitor incidents to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to perform job functions.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in technical support or a related area.
- Familiarity with commonly used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
- VMware administration
- Windows and Linux system administration
- Basic scripting (e.g., Power Shell, Bash)
- Customer service and support experience
