Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

CTG is seeking to fill a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position for our client.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: Ongoing Contract

• Support and maintain production‑grade cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters (Open Shift/GKE) for COTS applications.
• Lead infrastructure migrations (on‑prem, public, hybrid cloud).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) and automation (Ansible, Shell, Python/Java).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux (Red Hat
  8) performance.
• Apply ITIL processes: change, incident, problem management, and RCA.

• 3+ years supporting on‑prem production environments (Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Astronomer, etc.).
• 2+ years with Terraform/IaC, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Hands‑on experience with automation, monitoring tools, and infrastructure migrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and operational efficiency skills.
• Adaptable, eager to learn new technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
