IT Support​/Field Technician

Akkodis is partnering with a local entity in the trucking business to hire a full-time/jack of all trades field technician to be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

• Provide desktop support to end users.
• Hardware and peripheral support
• Office and other Software installation and support
• Printer and printer driver support
• Hardware imaging and deployment
• Troubleshoot network connection issues
• Escalate complex issues to tier II for resolution.
• Research and work with Tier II as needed for resolution
• User login management across company and third-party platforms
• Security assignments
• Other user access issues
• Inventory Management
• Assist with budget preparation.
• To recycle decommissioned hardware.
• Regular hardware inspections
• Regular site visits

Travel around region on a regular 4-6 week schedule.

Home base is Phoenix AZ

Other locations:
Tucson, Flagstaff, Bellemont, El Paso (TX) and Cahokia, IL

Overnight stays expected about 1x a month

1-2 nights

Potential requests to travel to outside locations (i.e., West Texas and Illinois)

In region travel would be expected to use a personal vehicle
