Job Description

This is a hybrid role. We only consider candidates local to Arizona. No C2C candidate.

ASRS’ Desktop Support Technician role serves as the primary point of contact for internal end-users, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support. This individual acts as the "face of IT," delivering exceptional customer service while troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. The role is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the agency’s end‑user computing environment, ensuring staff have the technical tools required to perform their duties.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities are 100% hands‑on technical and operational support.

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal end-users.
• Install, configure, and maintain end‑user computing hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Maintain client desktops and laptops, ensuring optimal performance.

• 5 or more years as a Desktop Support / IT Technician with Level 1 and 2 tiered support experience.

• IT Service Management (ITSM) experience.
• Maven knowledge.
• Active Directory / Azure AD administration.
• Asset Management.
• Remote support: assistance with VPN connectivity, Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA), and remote desktop connections.
