The OpportunitySenior Analyst within the Infrastructure Advisory Analyst Team will support technology projects for water, electric, and gas utilities. The focus is on Operational Technologies (OT) transformation projects, including Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Grid Modernization, Enterprise Asset Management, and Digital Solutions across Canada and the United States.
The TeamThe Analyst Team is a diverse group of early‑career professionals engaged in technical projects. Team members collaborate across Consulting and Digital Delivery, integrating strategy, data, technology, and asset management systems. This collaborative environment values innovation, continuous improvement, and client success.
Key Responsibilities- Support delivery of technology projects including requirements gathering, data evaluation, process mapping, report development, training, change management, and testing.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to provide insights, identify trends, opportunities and risks.
- Prepare reports, presentations, processes, tools, and models to communicate analysis and recommendations to clients.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops to support the project team with presentations and facilitation.
- Diagnose issues and develop solutions using appropriate technical methods; engage subject‑matter experts as needed.
- Apply in‑depth knowledge of industry or technical specialization.
- Adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements; may support scope and fee development for proposals.
- Collaborate with team members and experts to ensure high‑quality deliverables and successful outcomes.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Develop knowledge in specializations and specific industry areas; share current technology knowledge with the team.
Individual Contributor
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree + 2–4 years experience OR Master’s degree
- 2–4+ years experience in a business/consulting environment
- Completion of pre‑employment onboarding requirements, such as criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Master’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in the electric utility sector and/or managing consulting with utilities.
- Experience with Grid Management & Modernization Solutions Deployment (e.g., Grid Modernization Technologies, Advanced Distribution Management System, Distributed Energy Resource Management System, Automated Metering Infrastructure) and/or Utility IT Transformation (Enterprise Asset Management, Work Management, Customer Information Systems, ERP).
- Some travel.
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments.
