Security Operations Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Security Operations Analyst to join their team. As a Security Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Data Protection Team supporting security monitoring, risk analysis, and process automation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for continuous learning, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

4701 E Francisco Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85044 (South Mountain);
Hybrid - Mondays, Thursdays on site. Remote Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Fridays.
Pay Range: $35 - $40/hr (Only W2) What's the Job?

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to information security risks related to database activity.
• Support efforts to improve security program maturity through collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in the delivery of data security operational processes, including Database Activity Monitoring.
• Assist in identifying policy violations and threats to organizational databases.
• Contribute to automation initiatives to streamline manual security processes.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed documentation.
• Experience communicating security concepts to diverse teams.
• Passion for designing solutions to automate manual processes.
