Cloud Security Pattern Architect

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cloud Security Pattern Architect to join their team. As a Cloud Security Pattern Architect, you will be part of the Security and Cloud Architecture department supporting the organization's cloud security initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem‑solving, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Evaluate cloud services against internal and external security requirements and control frameworks.
• Identify relevant threats, mitigations, and assurance evidence to support security assessments.
• Develop and document security patterns for approved cloud services and configurations.
• Model security patterns within threat modeling platforms, ensuring data quality and traceability.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and compliance teams to streamline service certification processes and improve security practices.

• Strong understanding of cloud security architectures across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with application security and security control frameworks such as MITRE CAPEC, CWE, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Practical experience in threat modeling and security pattern development.
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code and secure configuration practices.
• Clear and structured communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
