We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled Business Intelligence Manager (BI) to lead our growing data and analytics function. This role is ideal for a working manager who can both lead strategically and execute technically
, leveraging the full suite of Microsoft Azure and Power Platform tools to transform how we manage, analyze, and act on data.
As we embark on a company-wide digital and data transformation, you will be a key architect in shaping our data future—designing, building, and optimizing high-performance analytics solutions that empower decision-making and operational excellence across the organization.

- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of data engineers, analysts, and report developers.
- Define and execute the company's data and analytics roadmap in alignment with business goals.
- Partner with business and operations leaders to identify opportunities to use data for innovation and efficiency.
- Champion data governance, quality, and accessibility across the organization.
- Technical Execution
- Design, build, and manage end-to-end data solutions leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Logic Apps, and the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, data models, and reporting frameworks.
- Create advanced analytics dashboards and self-service BI tools to empower business users.
- Oversee data integration across multiple systems (ERP, CRM, financial, operations).
- Ensure data security, scalability, and performance within the Azure ecosystem.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and automation capabilities where appropriate.
- Stay current on emerging Microsoft technologies and BI best practices to continually evolve the company's data capabilities.
- Work closely with IT, Finance, and Operations to translate business challenges into data-driven insights.
- All employees must wear the appropriate personal protective equipment and follow all safety guidelines at all times as an essential part of their job responsibilities.
- Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer.
- Stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
- Strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen.
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
- This is a full-time position.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics roles.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity, ideally in a small or mid-sized team.
- Proven success implementing BI and data solutions in Microsoft Azure and Power Platform environments.
- Technical Expertise:
- Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Logic Apps, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience with data governance, API integrations, and ETL frameworks.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Bonus:
- Experience in construction, asphalt paving, or heavy civil industries
