We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant specializing in Oracle iStore to assess, remediate, and secure custom Oracle iStore applications. The role focuses on addressing application security vulnerabilities across custom JSPs, Java components, servlets, and database extensions while ensuring minimal impact to customer-facing e-commerce operations.
Key Responsibilities- Review and remediate security vulnerabilities in custom Oracle iStore JSPs, Java classes, and servlets.
- Address common web application security risks including XSS, SQL Injection, CSRF, IDOR, and sensitive data exposure.
- Implement secure input validation, context-aware output encoding, and secure session management.
- Apply Oracle AOL and Java security best practices to custom iStore applications.
- Secure custom PL/SQL packages, APIs, and database integrations supporting the iStore application.
- Work closely with QA and Information Security teams to validate security fixes.
- Perform regression testing across critical customer order flows.
- Support deployment and patching using standard Oracle EBS/FND processes.
- Analyze application and database-level security issues and provide remediation solutions.
- Collaborate with technical, functional, QA, and Info Sec teams throughout remediation and deployment activities.
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle iStore / Oracle EBS Technical experience.
- Experience with Oracle iStore 12.1.x and/or 12.2.x.
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, JSP, Java Servlets, and XML.
- Hands-on experience identifying and remediating web application security vulnerabilities in Oracle ERP environments.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
- Experience securing custom database packages and working with Oracle standard APIs.
- Good understanding of Oracle EBS technical architecture and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Oracle Application Server / Web Logic configurations related to custom JSP deployments.
- Experience working with QA and Info Sec teams on vulnerability remediation and regression testing.
- Experience with OWASP Top 10 remediation.
- Oracle EBS R12 technical development experience.
- Experience with customer-facing e-commerce/order management applications.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS deployment, FND loading, and patching processes.
