IT Project Manager ; Independent Contractor Hybrid - Phoenix, AZ

IT Project Manager (Level 3 – Independent Contractor – Full-time)

You’ve got the experience, expertise, and confidence to lead large‑scale, high‑priority IT projects. In addition to the responsibilities of the IT Project Manager – Level 2, you will interface with C‑Level executives regarding project status, and ensure adherence to its strategic objectives and quality standards. This role is a one‑year contract position with a potential option to renew, based in metro Phoenix, AZ.

• Lead larger‑scale IT implementation projects under the general supervision of a portfolio or program manager.
• Assign individual responsibilities, identify resource needs, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Keep company executives apprised of project status at all times.

• Track record of managing projects with successful outcomes.
• Proven experience with full‑cycle project management under a structured PMO.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid remote/on‑site environment.

• 6+ years experience in technology project management/implementation.
• Experience leading and managing larger‑scale projects such as ERP implementations.
• Demonstrated experience staffing and managing project teams.
• Proven ability to establish trust and credibility with C‑Level executives and maintain calm in high‑pressure environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical related field.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Waterfall/Agile processes.
• PMP certification (preferred).
