Network Security Engineer; Palo Alto​/Cisco SD-WAN Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to lead the remote configuration, deployment, and integration of enterprise-grade security appliances. In this role, you will focus on deploying Palo Alto PA-450 firewalls and seamlessly integrating them into our existing Cisco SD-WAN environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, template-driven deployment model, possesses sharp troubleshooting skills, and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams to ensure secure, on-time site rollouts.

• Firewall Deployment:
  Perform remote logical configuration and deployment of Palo Alto PA-450 firewalls utilizing predefined templates and standardized processes.
• SD-WAN Integration:
  Integrate Palo Alto firewalls with existing Cisco SD-WAN environments to ensure proper traffic routing, segmentation, and inspection.
• Multi-Site Rollouts:
  Support deployments across multiple sites with a structured, repeatable, and scalable implementation approach.
• Testing & Validation:
  Conduct comprehensive functional and security testing to validate firewall functionality and confirm strict adherence to organizational security standards.
• Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity and configuration issues during and immediately following deployment.
• Collaboration:
  
  Partner with project management teams to meet strict deployment timelines, milestones, and validate successful site status with local stakeholders.
• Documentation:
  Thoroughly document final network configurations, testing outcomes, and deployment results for operational handoff.

• Palo Alto Expertise:
  Proven experience deploying, configuring, and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls within an enterprise ecosystem.
• Routing & SD-WAN:
  Strong architectural understanding of Cisco SD-WAN concepts and best practices for integrating third-party security appliances.
• Remote Delivery:
  Demonstrated experience successfully executing remote network deployments and configurations with minimal local oversight.
• Security Acumen:
  Deep knowledge of firewall policies, deep packet inspection, zone-based security, and network security best practices.
• Process-Driven:
  Ability to strictly follow standardized templates, engineering workflows, and deployment methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
  
  Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
