Luxor Technology Platform Security Engineer: join Luxor AI's Platform team and own security and compliance in its scope, building centralized automated security testing in CI/CD and running cloud vulnerability, configuration and detection monitoring. Fully remote based in the U.S.A., reporting directly to the CTO.
Responsibilities- Serve as a day-to-day security advisor for the supported team, advocating security requirements during sprint planning, architecture reviews, process discussions, product direction, design decisions, and while work is in flight
- Build and maintain centralized automated security testing and enforcement in CI/CD, including static and dynamic application security testing, software composition analysis, secrets scanning, and infrastructure-as-code scanning
- Manage centralized cloud monitoring tooling for vulnerability and configuration management, and integrate ongoing patching and hardening into engineering operations
- Continually audit application environments and development processes to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and alignment with security standard methodologies
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in Dev Ops, software engineering, or security engineering
- Proficiency with CI/CD platforms, infrastructure as code tools, and configuration management
- Fully remote role based in U.S.A., with seldom travel if needed; remote does not imply worldwide eligibility
- Reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer
- Works within Luxor AI's Platform team, building and running production infrastructure
- Experience supporting third-party attestations and audits such as SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001
- Experience operating and maintaining Zero Trust network infrastructure
- Experience of how security and compliance operate in a large organization, now seeking autonomy to evolve that function at a fast-growing startup
- Ownership of the entire security and compliance area within the platform team's scope, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer
- A fully remote role based in the U.S.A., with seldom travel if needed
- This is an engineering security role, not a paperwork-only compliance role: the owner builds the testing, monitoring and hardening that production infrastructure runs on
- Security is embedded in the engineering process, from sprint planning to work in flight, rather than applied as a final review
- Reporting to the CTO gives a short decision chain, but the role also carries sole ownership of security and compliance in its scope
- Confirm you can accept a fully remote role based in the U.S.A., and check the original page for residency, time zone, language and work authorization
- Prepare evidence of building centralized automated security testing and enforcement in CI/CD, including SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning and IaC scanning
- Prepare third-party attestation and audit experience, for example SOC 2 Type 2 or ISO 27001 preparation, implementation and evidence collection
