Overview
A respected national law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Assistant to join its Commercial Litigation Group in the Phoenix, Arizona office. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes initiative, builds strong relationships, and delivers high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a collaborative and client-focused team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of case management.
- Prepare, proofread, revise, and finalize legal documents and correspondence.
- Perform e-filing in state, federal, and appellate courts.
- Maintain and organize confidential files, records, legal documents, and reports.
- Conduct new matter intake and conflict checks; assist with time entry and client billing.
- Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule travel, meetings, and conferences.
- Coordinate and track deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks and filings.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to support trial preparation and case logistics.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with electronic document management systems;
File Site experience a plus. - Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven, team‑oriented setting.
- Positive, professional attitude with a proactive and flexible approach.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
