Litigation Attorney

The Goldwater Institute is looking for a Litigator to join our team. The attorney will litigate a wide range of cases, including under state constitutions, to protect individual rights and promote constitutionally limited government. To qualify, the attorney must have at least two years of litigation experience
, preferably including appellate or clerkship experience. Candidates with more extensive litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal advocacy skills, have first-chair experience in evidentiary hearings and depositions, and possess a collegial attitude.

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active member of the Arizona State Bar
• At least two years of litigation experience, including first-chair experience in evidentiary hearings and depositions, with some appellate experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding and alignment with the Institute’s mission and public policy objectives
• Collegial attitude, strong work ethic, and sense of humor
