Legal Counsel, Lawyer, Legal Assistant, Paralegal
Grand Canyon Law Group is seeking an experienced Arizona criminal defense attorney to handle misdemeanor and lower-level felony cases throughout Maricopa and Pinal counties. We are looking for someone who can walk into court prepared, manage a caseload with confidence, communicate clearly with clients, and take ownership without waiting for someone to assign every next step. Depending on coverage needs, you may work from your own GCLG office and manage your daily responsibilities independently.
That means you must be organized, accountable, proactive, and comfortable making sound decisions. But independent does not mean unsupported. You will have experienced paralegal support, weekly case staffing, access to the entire GCLG legal team, ongoing training, centralized intake and client‑relations support, modern technology, AI‑powered legal tools, and leadership that is invested in your development. We want you focused on the work that requires an attorney: analyzing cases, advising clients, negotiating, advocating, appearing in court, and achieving the best possible outcomes.
If you want autonomy, meaningful courtroom experience, strong support, and a clear path to take on more complex matters as you grow, this could be the right next step.
Grand Canyon Law Group is an Arizona criminal defense firm with one clear mission:
We help good people accused of a crime take control of their case and save their future.
- Compassion
- Honesty

We believe excellent criminal defense requires more than legal knowledge. It requires preparation, strong judgment, clear communication, personal accountability, and a team that genuinely cares about the person behind the case.
Our attorneys are supported by experienced paralegals, a centralized intake and client‑relations team, established case‑management systems, modern technology, consistent training, and firm leadership committed to building the best criminal defense firm in Arizona.
You will be expected to practice the GCLG way, but you will also be given the resources, training, and support to succeed within it.
