Procurement Specialist

Our client, a defense and aerospace technology company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing/Procurement department supporting cross-functional program, engineering, pricing, and supplier management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and collaboration skills which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Execute FAR 15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.

+ Conduct supplier market research and evaluate supplier information to identify qualified suppliers.

+ Obtain and manage solicitation documentation, including drawings, supplier scorecards, and historical purchasing data.

+ Support subcontract negotiations involving pricing and terms and conditions.

+ Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement compliance and program success.

** What's Needed?*
* + Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, contracts & legal, business, or finance.

+ US Citizen required due to contractual requirements.

+ Experience supporting or executing FAR 15 subcontracting activities.

+ Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).

+ Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
