Procurement Manager

This role owns the hardware supply chain from purchase orders through inventory records and vendor payments, and it also runs the month end inventory close with journal entries and reconciliations. A strong candidate has several years in purchasing, inventory control or operational accounting for a physical product, is comfortable in an ERP system, and keeps records accurate while juggling suppliers, production needs and finance.

Clear written communication matters because much of the work is remote and depends on procedures others follow on site.

The core tasks here are record keeping, matching and reconciliation, which software and automation increasingly handle, so the human value shifts toward catching errors, investigating discrepancies and designing procedures that hold up. Judgment about supply risk, supplier relationships and process design stays with the person. The role sits close to a company built on computer vision, so comfort with systems and data accuracy is a real advantage.

The posting does not ask for AI skills, and the experience gained is indirect: working inside a company whose product is computer vision, and building clean, reliable data and workflows that automated tools can use. A candidate can prepare by getting hands on with an ERP such as Net Suite and by showing strong spreadsheet analysis. Familiarity with how inventory and finance data flows between systems is the most relevant thing to build.
