Supply Chain/Logistics
Inventory Control & Analysis, Procurement / Purchasing, Supply Chain & Logistics
The role owns the hardware supply chain from end to end: raising purchase orders, tracking inventory in an ERP, matching invoices to receipts, and running the month end inventory close. A strong candidate has several years in purchasing, inventory control or operational accounting for a physical product, is comfortable in Net Suite and spreadsheets, and can keep records accurate while juggling suppliers, production and finance.
Clear written communication and the discipline to work remotely matter, along with willingness to travel a few times a year for audits.
Much of the routine tracking, matching and reconciliation can be automated, so the value shifts toward setting up clean processes, catching discrepancies and judging supply risk early. The human parts remain supplier relationships, investigating variance, and deciding how to respond when materials or invoices do not line up. This role sits close to the hardware side of a computer vision company, so accurate records feed the systems the business depends on.
Howit builds AI experience
The posting does not ask for AI skills, but the role offers a view of how AI driven hardware operations run in practice. Building familiarity with ERP reporting and data quality would help, since clean inventory and cost data is what any automated analysis relies on. Exposure to the company's damage assessment products would give context for why hardware reliability matters.
