At Schuff, our Project Manager will manage/lead all activities associated with the construction of an assigned project, from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within expected time and budgetary constraints. As the Project Manager, you will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the scope and budget, while collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth execution of all project aspects.

Schuff PMs have managed some of the most impressive building structures in North America and are looking to add a seasoned PM to our Project Management Team.

Education/Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering, or Business is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.
• Knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes.
• Ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprints.
• Experience managing multiple large projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling / Tekla system.

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project/Construction Manager in the structural steel industry.

Software & Technology

• Proficiency in MS Windows 10, MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Contract Manager, Primavera Scheduling, Tekla system.

Work Environment

• Frequent travel may be required, including air and road travel.
• A clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance are required.
• Primarily indoors in a climate-controlled office, with visits to outdoor facilities and project sites.
