The Warehouse Group Lead will be responsible for the accurate and efficient day to day operations of the LTL, FTL and container shipment area. The Warehouse Group Lead will ensure safe and compliant shipment of finished products as well as hazardous materials utilizing forklifts, stand-up lift-trucks and other material handling equipment. The Warehouse Group Lead will also maintain warehouse equipment and warehouse supply levels for packing and shipping purposes as well as serve as a back up for various warehouse tasks.

$19.00 - $23/Hr. Depending on Experience

- Ensure accuracy of packed and palletized product for shipment.
- Properly document all shipments.
- Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in Leading, training, coaching and disciplining employees.
- Assists in planning daily work and manpower to support shift activity and meet daily and weekly schedule requirements.
- Interact with other Distribution Center Leaders and Supervisors to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Work with manager to identify root causes of quality defects and suggest possible process changes to mitigate future opportunities for defects.
- Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Works with manger to create, update and monitor daily, weekly metrics that are required for the LTL, FTL and Container shipping team.
- Train to support shipping and picking operations as a backup, maintaining workflow continuity in the distribution warehouse.
- Three years of distribution/warehouse experience.
- Ability to lead, train, mentor, and motivate employees.
- Excellent math and verbal communication skills.
- Meet and exceed deadlines while working under pressure.
- Basic math skills and strong verbal communication abilities, with the capability to effectively interact with all levels of management
- Certified to operate Sit-Down Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Double Reach truck.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable using warehouse systems, RF scanners.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Overtime availability required
