Summary

The Regional Operations Leader plays a critical role in shaping employee experience, supporting growth, and driving operational excellence in our expansion markets. Responsibilities

Leadership, Culture & Team Development

  • Provide recommendations and business cases to evaluate advances in the value proposition for Mountain West advancements.
  • Work directly with Managing Partner, and in partnership with the P&C Practice Leader and COO, to execute on organizational design strategies.
  • Achieve KPIs and operational metrics established by Managing Partner and COO.
  • Contribute ideation and ensure adherence to client experience core processes as a Team Leader.
  • Contribute to Team Leader peers regional insights into core processes as well as to West specific solutions.
  • Collaboration to create, implement and train processes and initiatives within and across teams.
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable service team members across the West Market.
  • Coach and develop talent through feedback and day‑to‑day interactions.
  • Serve as backup to team personnel as needed.
  • Partner with Managing Partner on market presence, cultural initiatives, and cross‑team integration.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team Leaders on solutions, relationships, and finalist presentations.
  • Contribute regional strategic insights to P&C budget process.
  • Champion internal relationship building and flexible workforce culture.

Carrier Relationships

  • Lead regional carrier partnerships and resolve issues impacting the service team.
  • Communicate key dynamics to leadership and sales partners.

Recruiting & Talent Pipeline

  • Support recruiting efforts through interviews, informal conversations, and collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Partner with Managing Partner, P&C Practice Leader and COO on selection decisions.

Client Experience

  • Serve as Client Executive for 2‑4 clients leading planning, innovation and retention.
  • Conduct client education and enrollment meetings as required.

Tools & Processes

  • Use agency management systems consistently and ensure adherence to processes.
  • Learn and apply Sightline process to collaborate with new business sales and existing clients.
  • Assist with new business and renewal submissions.

Office Operations

  • Support office relocations and resource functionality in partnership with IT/Administration.

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the risk management industry.
  • Property & Casualty License.

Preferred

  • CIC designation.
  • Previous leadership experience.
