Overview

The WTI Field Resource Foreman (Foreman) oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region.

The Foreman is responsible for delivering timely service to all WTI customers and managing exposure to risks.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew. Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools to identify and discuss any safety concerns. Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable. The Foreman also ensures that all technicians complete Daily Hazard Analysis.
  • Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project, including:
    • WTI Field Resources Supervisor daily and before starting new projects (ensure all communication with Sales Reps is also shared with the Supervisor).
    • Sales Rep weekly and/or as needed and before new projects.
    • WTI crew members discuss scope of work, daily tasks, and overall schedule.
    • Customer/Client daily and/or weekly as needed or required by the Sales Rep.
  • Efficiently manage projects by tracking the crew’s start and end times, daily productivity (hours, man-days, etc.), and ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently. Complete the project per the approved scope of work or specification and after issuance by the Supervisor.
  • Using a designated company-mandated reporting tool, complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure workmanship quality and address any punch list items before leaving the job site. Include updates on work performed, materials consumed (T&M projects), and supplies purchased.
  • Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps have a professional appearance and conduct customer interactions while completing services.
  • Order, track, and monitor inventory and ensure quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted on time.
  • Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500.
  • Submit all proposals over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval before submitting them to the GS Administrator for logging and distribution to the Sales Rep.
  • Monitor and manage the Field Reps; consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate corrective actions and work with the Supervisor to elevate issues to HR as required.
  • Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules.
  • Review time reports daily and make necessary corrections with the admin team.
  • Attend all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings.
  • Perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager.

Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • 30‑hour OSHA certification.
  • Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Thorough familiarity with built‑up, EPDM, PVC, and other low‑sloped roofing systems, as well as metal and steep‑sloped roofing systems, and how to repair them properly.
Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position generally ranges between $53,000 and $65,000, based on qualifications and experience.
