About the RoleAs Senior Manager, Learning & Development, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for learning initiatives that support all mortgage servicing departments. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end learning strategy while remaining actively engaged in content creation, facilitation, and execution.
You will lead and develop a team of trainers while personally setting the bar for training quality, consistency, and effectiveness. This role will build upon the foundation established by the previous leader, bringing stronger strategic direction, scalable content development, and elevated leadership rigor to Valon’s learning programs.
The Senior Manager will oversee New Hire Orientation, Manager and Leadership training, and ongoing compliance and role-based training for individual contributors. Success in this role requires the ability to operate at both a high strategic level and a hands‑on, day-to-day level in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLearning Strategy & Ownership
Own the Valon Mortgage Servicing learning strategy, aligning programs with business goals, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities.
Partner with leaders across CX, Operations, Compliance, and Legal to identify skill gaps and learning needs.
Build and scale effective learning programs with clear success metrics.
Program Design & Delivery
Design and evolve training for new hires, role-based learning, leadership development, and compliance.
Develop and review high-quality training materials and assessments.
Facilitate engaging virtual and in‑person training, including New Hire Orientation and manager programs.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of trainers and learning professionals.
