The Role:

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team in a stable and growing construction firm known for delivering major heavy civil projects across Arizona. The Project Manager plays a critical role in day-to-day project execution, ensuring success through excellent planning, team coordination, and problem-solving. With a strong backlog and a safety-first culture, this role offers both challenge and reward in equal measure.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily execution of assigned project(s), ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence

• Manage, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal field personnel

• Provide guidance and oversight to project superintendents and promote a strong safety culture

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain momentum

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost control strategies

• Manage subcontractor payments, change orders, and monthly cost reporting

• Serve as the primary contact for project owners, leading meetings and providing status updates

• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards

• Manage all documentation, permits, inspections, and closeout activities

Role Requirements:

• Proven experience managing heavy civil or commercial construction projects from start to finish

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams across multiple scopes of work

• Understanding of field operations and construction methodologies

Preferred Skills or

Experience:

• Experience in public works, roadway, utilities, and site development projects

• Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam)

• Local experience in the Phoenix metro market

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil or commercial construction

• OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
