A rapidly growing and well-established commercial real estate investment and development firm is looking to add a strategic, results-driven Commercial Project Manager to their team. This is a high-impact role leading real estate development projects from the ground up, driving initiatives from entitlement through construction. With multiple projects on deck and a new team forming, this position offers a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role within an evolving and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities- Manage all development activities across multiple commercial real estate projects, from entitlements through permitting and construction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for consultants including architects, engineers (civil, structural, landscape), surveyors, and other third-party vendors.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across acquisition, legal, construction, and disposition functions.
- Oversee and manage timelines using internal project tracking tools, ensuring critical path milestones are met.
- Work closely with municipalities, attending public hearings and representing the company during planning and approval processes.
- Review consultant deliverables and ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals and budgets.
- Maintain and update financial proformas, working closely with acquisitions and finance teams to stay within budget and mitigate cost overruns.
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenant due diligence materials and work closely with tenant reps on development timelines.
- Coach and support development associates on project execution best practices and municipal processes.
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial real estate development, preferably with entitlement and permitting responsibilities.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects from inception to completion.
- Experience working with public agencies and municipal bodies during development approval processes.
- Strong familiarity with proformas, budget tracking, and construction project documentation.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Leadership experience with small cross-functional teams; ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
- Comfortable working in a high-accountability, transparent leadership environment.
- Must be highly detail-oriented, adaptable to change, and thrive under tight timelines.
- Experience outside traditional CRE will be considered—diverse backgrounds are welcome.
- Competitive base salary, dependent on experience.
- Annual bonus structure with two-tiered payout (August and March).
