Job Type:
Temp (6 Months ) to Hire
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $42.10/hr.
- $56.96/hr.
Job Description:
- The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects.
- This position integrates project management oversight with on-site leadership, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil/Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years' experience in industrial, heavy civil, or large commercial projects(manufacturing, processing, warehouse, or utilities preferred).
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Project.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, budget, and manage industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee field operations, site safety, and subcontractor performance.
- Coordinate with Purchasing the procurement of materials and equipment, including long-lead industrial components.
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and quality.
- Prepare progress reports, track costs, and manage changes.
- Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
- Ensure city permits are submitted, and all projects are in compliance with city requirements.
