If so, your next career move is here. We are seeking a dedicated, energetic Dorm Manager to lead our residential team and empower students on their journey to career success. You will oversee dormitory operations, manage a dedicated residential team, and provide the guidance our students need to achieve lifelong career success.

Your Impact & Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Mentor Students:
  Foster a safe, clean, and structured living environment that promotes student retention, achievement, and graduation.
• Supervise Residential Staff:
  Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and manage a team of Residential Advisors, ensuring proper dormitory coverage and accountability.
• Provide Case Management:
  Partner with counseling teams to deliver individualized guidance, supporting students through challenges and celebrating their milestones.
• Oversee Dorm Operations:
  Manage supply inventories, submit facility maintenance work orders, ensure accurate shift reporting, and maintain top-tier physical security.
• Connect with Community:
  Build meaningful external relationships to promote Job Corps and expand student opportunities in education and career technical training.

What You Bring to the Table

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate of Arts degree from an accredited school preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of one year of experience in Job Corps or a related youth development/residential program required.
• License: A valid in-state Driver's License is preferred (as you may occasionally transport students).
• Skills:
  
  Strong conflict resolution, time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Ability:
  Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
