First Article Inspection

Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

Location: 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 (40th St and Southern)

Shift: Full time, day shift

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical inspection of machined Aerospace parts using hand tools, Micrometer, Caliper, Surface Plate Layout tools, Dial Bore, etc.
• Manual CMM experience
• DCC CMM experience with PC-DMIS
• Basic computer knowledge

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum experience in aerospace inspection manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 and GDT required
• Experience with micrometers, optical comparator, height gages, profilometer
• CMM experience (PCDMIS, QC5000, Brown and Sharp Reflex)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
• Ability to sit or stand up to 8 hours per day
