Hardware Assembly Technician

The Hardware Assembly Technician is a hands‑on role critical to the production and quality of 10

ZiG’s Thin & Zero Client computer hardware. You will assemble, build, configure, and test hardware products according to specifications, ensuring each device meets our rigorous performance and reliability standards. In this role, you’ll work closely with the shipping team to prepare products for distribution, while also taking pride in crafting the technology that powers our global customers. This position requires a detail‑oriented individual with technical skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret sales orders, bills of materials, and technical instructions to assemble, build, and configure computer hardware
  • Use handheld tools such as screwdrivers and drill guns to install and secure hardware components safely and efficiently
  • Conduct functional and quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Maintain product inventory at workstations and prepare systems for shipment
  • Identify, document, and report defects or inconsistencies
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Package and ship assembled hardware efficiently
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in receiving shipments
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualification Requirements
  • Good command of English, with the ability to read and interpret sales orders, bills of materials, and assembly instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and lift 25–75 pounds
  • Familiarity with UPS Worldship and/or Fed Ex Ship Manager is a plus (training provided if needed)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is beneficial
  • Hands‑on experience with handheld tools; ability to safely and efficiently assemble and build computer hardware with precision
  • Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately and consistently
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, precision, and thoroughness in work execution
  • Basic reading comprehension and ability to follow detailed technical instructions
  • Foundational computer navigation and usage skills
  • High level of self‑motivation, quality focus, and commitment to safety
