Position Summary

Welds metal components together, fabricates or repairs products according to layouts, blueprints or work orders, using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.

Position Responsibilities

• Welding both steel and aluminum parts together utilizing Mig and/or Tig welding processes.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding as required.
• Experience welding mild steel, 4130, aluminum, and titanium.
• Self‑starter, comfortable working independently.
• Perform related tasks such as grinding and cutting.
• Use fixtures and clamps to assemble parts, fully welding according to models and drawings.
• Perform all welding processes according to shop standards and quality.
• Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on used machines.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of welding and related safety processes.

Education

HS graduate or equivalent. Technical training or certification preferred.

Experience

2+ years of prior welding experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Off‑road experience or fabrication trade school certificate preferred.

Work Environment and

Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods.
• Vision required to validate and enter data on computer.
