Electrical Assembler II, 1st Shift (Onsite)

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

• Assemble electronic units and identify correct parts/materials.
• Operate assembly machines and utilize a variety of hand tools.
• Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives; perform measurements using basic instruments.
• Read and interpret assembly/process instructions and engineering standards.
• Use computer systems for work instructions, labor charging, and generating NCM reject tags.
• Follow material handling, packaging techniques, and work priorities to meet production goals.
• Maintain accurate records, communicate professionally, and comply with company policies.

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the U.S.) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of a year of relevant experience.

• Experience with electronic assembly.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with blueprints or schematics.
• Experience working with torque wrenches, wire crimpers, or other hand tools.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

• Distinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements.
• Bending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc.
• Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation).
• Must be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Transporting product with or without product carts.
