Arizona Engine Rebuilding (AER)is one of Arizonas fastest-growing and highest-rated engine rebuild facilities. We are seekingeither a skilled Engine Builderoran experienced Engine Machinistwho takes pride in precision work, accurate measurements, and building engines that performat or above factory specifications.

Candidates will be placed based ontheir strengths and experience whether that is precision machining, final assembly, or complete powertrain rebuilding.

Key Responsibilities (Based on Experience & Role):

Engine Builder / Rebuilder Focus:

• Assembleshort blocks and long blocksfor European, Domestic, and Asian engines
• Perform final measurements, clearances, torque procedures, and inspections
• Assemble and inspect rebuilt cylinder heads
• Follow OEM factory service manuals and technical specifications
• Maintain cleanliness, documentation, and quality control standards

Engine Machinist Focus:

• Machine and rebuild cylinder heads and engine blocks
• Perform precision machining and inspections using professional equipment
• Measure and verify tolerances using micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators
• Work closely with the engine assembly team to ensure proper fit and finish
• Maintain organized, clean machining work spaces

Range Rover engine experience is strongly preferred for both roles.

What Were Looking For:

• 25+ years of hands-on experiencein engine rebuildingorengine machining
• Backgrounds we value include:

• Engine Builder / Engine Rebuilder
• Automotive or Engine Machinist
• Cylinder Head Technician / Rebuilder
• Performance Engine Technician
• Powertrain Technician
• Experience with European (especiallyRange Rover), Domestic, or Asian engines:
• Ability to read and interpret factory specs, manuals, and technical data
• Strong attention to detail with zero tolerance for sloppy or rushed work
• Positive, reliable, team-oriented mindset
• Professional references we value reputation and craftsmanship
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
• Must pass pre-employment screening
