Warehouse & Parts Counter

About the Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Parts Counter to deliver an exceptional service experience  role involves controlling the movement of materials to and from storage, managing inventory transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Federal Express software systems.
• Familiarity with LTL freight processes.
• AS400 experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Basic math skills for inventory reporting.

• Remove material from trucks and deliver to correct area, note shipping damage, photograph damage, and adjust dock plate level.
• Compare packing slip information with purchase order, count items for verification, and report discrepancies to the Parts Manager.
• Write part number, P.O. number, and internal count on parts container, then store material in proper location.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently, perform daily inspections, change propane tanks, report maintenance issues, and use hand trucks as needed.
• Receive material from fabrication or manufacturing departments, mark and store appropriately.
• Conduct cycle counts to update and audit inventory balances per Parts Manager instructions.
• Perform year‑end physical inventory.
• Obtain merchandise to fill orders, package outbound customer parts orders, aiming to eliminate shipping damage.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Adhere to safety policies and practices for personal and team safety.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
