Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Service Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, is currently seeking a 2nd shift Material Handler/High Reach Operator in Phoenix, AZ. The Material Handler/High Reach Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by efficiently receiving, transporting, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This role ensures accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and the timely preparation of orders for shipment. Operating forklifts—including high reach trucks—is essential, along with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.

• Prepare and setup machine for production by positioning the payoff, feeder, and take-up
• Operate the machinery by adjusting and maintaining production controls according to specifications
• Monitor the quality of wire during production and the finished product
• Perform routine lubrication of machinery parts and minor preventative maintenance
• Observe machine operation for equipment malfunction and report immediately
• Record detailed daily production data
• Maintain safety standards and clean work environment
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

• High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training
• Demonstrate strong basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions, direction, and correspondence, both oral and written
• Cooperatively works and interacts with members of the manufacturing department and other company employees
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate-control.
• In-person attendance is an essential function of the job

• Must be available to work 3pm - 11:30pm.
