Reports To: Fleet & Warehouse Manager
SUMMARY: The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift throughout the warehouse while following all applicable safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Follow all safety, food safety, & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) rules and regulations.
- Accurately complete forklift inspection sheet and clean‑up assignment checklist.
- Perform forklift inspection at the start of each shift.
- Use the Radio Frequency (RF) system to receive and stock products using the “Movement” function; use the “Pick/Gather” function to pre‑stage product for loads when needed.
- Unload all incoming shipments correctly and fill out inbound shipping reports.
- Load product onto trailer for shipping to customers using the RF system.
- Accurately compare all quantities to packing list and report damaged product to quality control.
- Scan product bar codes and complete receiving forms for the shipping office.
- Keep all areas of the warehouse clean and orderly.
- Work safely by following company rules and regulations as instructed during orientation and yearly safety training.
- Identify issues and communicate them promptly to the Production Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Key Work InstructionsSOPs are critical to meet customer specifications and maintain food safety, quality, and process efficiency. Operator’s manual is available on each line.
Work SafetyEnsures all tasks and functions are performed safely and that all procedures and requirements are followed.
Food Safety & QualityResponsible for food safety and quality and to report problems to authorized personnel if unable to initiate action.
Backup CoverageIn the absence, another qualified forklift operator shall cover the position.
Education & ExperienceHS Diploma or equivalent. Must attend all job‑related training classes to increase job knowledge and performance.
Language SkillsAbility to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications. Communicate effectively with managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts using a calculator.
Reasoning AbilityApply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Handle problems involving several concrete variables.
Computer SkillsBasic computer skills and use of RF system.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsSuccessful completion of company forklift certification and valid driver’s license.
Travel RequirementsAs required to attend off‑site training.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to talk or hear; required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasionally reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds.
Work EnvironmentThe noise level is usually moderate. Employee is subject to company rules, regulations, and GMPs.
