Permanent Buyer – Manufacturing

Phoenix (Deer Valley), United States.

Base pay: $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Buyer to join our Manufacturing team. This role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring production lines run at full capacity. The successful candidate will manage procurement of raw materials and components, requiring strong analytical thinking and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of supply chain and inventory management. Ideal applicants have experience navigating ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.

• Manage and oversee purchasing of raw materials, components, and other supplies required for production.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, improve prices, and set payment terms.
• Conduct regular supplier audits for compliance with ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to understand material requirements.
• Analyze and predict potential risks in the supply chain and implement proactive solutions.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock.
• Review and update purchase policies and procedures regularly.
• Conduct cost analysis to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
• Stay updated with market trends and advancements in the manufacturing industry.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in supply chain, inventory, and purchase management.
• Solid understanding of ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
• Proven track record in cost analysis and negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills for predicting and navigating risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and decision‑making under pressure.
