Maintenance Technician - Austin Industrial (Phoenix, AZ)
Must be able to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on various types of powered and non‑powered material handling equipment. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Candidates should have experience with hand and power tools and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. Forklift experience is helpful. Maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials, staging finished product for shipping;
other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory.
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.
- Maintain in‑process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Document material and supply disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Receive credit‑return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply code, lot number, and quantity; place materials in stock.
- Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintain material‑handling equipment by completing pre‑use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform repairs and PMs on various types of material handling equipment.
- Work at a fast pace while prioritizing safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Escort vendors and subcontractors.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship for employment visas.
- Valid driver’s license.
- No minimum education requirements.
- 1–3 years of mechanical experience; prefer forklift experience.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
