Machine Operator – 8 Hour Night Shift

Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator to support our Printing Department. The role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, plant efficiency, and product quality.

• Operate production equipment efficiently and safely.
• Inspect and package plastic products to meet quality standards.
• Use basic tools and palletize boxed items.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Read process manuals, record measurements, and monitor production runs.
• Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Keep the plant clean through daily work‑area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
• Perform additional job duties as required by leadership.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 consecutive hours; lift up to 35 lbs.
• Read/write proficiency for quality and production records.
• Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes and product.
• Experience operating equipment safely; basic tool use.

The employee must stand, walk, use hands, reach, lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The work environment includes moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, electrical shock, wet or humid conditions, high places, fumes, chemicals and outside weather.

• Pay: $18.00/hr plus $2.00/hr shift differential.
• Type:
  Full‑time.
• Shift: 8‑hour night shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday–Friday with potential weekend overtime.
