Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor CNC machining centers and lathes to produce precision components.
- Set up machines, including tooling installation, fixture positioning, zeroing, and program loading.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to machine parts to exact tolerances.
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
- Adjust machine offsets, feeds, and speeds as needed to maintain consistent part quality.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and minor mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain organization and cleanliness in machining and production areas.
- Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Accurately document production data, inspection results, and tooling usage.
- Participate in preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal machining or manufacturing training preferred.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred, but strong candidates with less experience may be considered.
- Proficiency with CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work varying shifts as needed.
- Knowledge of G‑code, tooling, and machining processes is a plus.
- Competitive hourly wage of $32–$38 per hour.
