Entry Level Machinist

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Entry-Level Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ. • Operate, monitor, and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to support efficient production operations.
• Assist with setup of machines, including loading materials, installing tooling, and verifying program parameters.
• Measure, inspect, and test machined parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to complete machining tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in machining and production areas.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and resolve operational challenges.
• Accurately document machining processes, material usage, and quality checks.
• Assist with routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of machining equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in machining is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn CNC and manual machining techniques.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work varying shifts as needed.
• Basic knowledge of machining, tools, or measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers) is a plus, but training will be provided.
