Maintenance Technician

Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support critical operations at a fast-paced production facility in Phoenix, AZ. This hands-on role focuses on keeping equipment, machinery, and facility systems in optimal condition through preventative and corrective maintenance.

Maintenance Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $22-$25/hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on cutting systems, web cutters, label makers, QA test equipment, and parts cleaning tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment that breaks down during shifts.
• Support facility maintenance needs including safety systems, layout changes, and minor repairs.
• Provide backup support for industrial sewing machine maintenance (training can be provided if unfamiliar).
• Assist with equipment moves, department changes, and safety initiatives.
• Identify spare parts and supplies needed for ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Familiar with power tools, hand tools, both sewing and non-sewing production equipment.
• Able to read and follow work instructions in English (written and verbal communication required).
• Comfortable working in warehouse, production, office, and outdoor environments.
• Forklift experience preferred or must be willing to certify.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 100 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders during shifts.
• Valid Driver's License required.
