We are hiring a CNC Machinist with experience in setup, operation, and editing of CNC mills and/or lathes. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with tight tolerances, large parts, and custom one-off or short-run production.
Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
- Edit or adjust G-code programs at the machine as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers
- Select appropriate tooling and fixturing for the job
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience required
- Strong ability to read blueprints and machine to tight tolerances (+/- .001")
- Experience editing G-code at the control
- Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc, or similar controls
