* SUMMARY:

** Receives all incoming goods, verifies bills of lading, inspects for damage, directs distribution to designated storage area.
*
* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* · Performs combinations of the following tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials.
· Performs pre-work inspection of assigned forklift.
· Responsible for loading and unloading trailers
· Perform safe operation of a forklift
· Identifying material accurately to pull for the to load
· Able to use a scanner to receive merchandise
· Interact and respond professionally to co-workers requests.
· Perform housekeeping in assigned area. Removes scrap to baler or dumpster.
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
*** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for a minimum for several hours per day.
* Able to handle material up to 50 lbs safely (100lb lifts as a two-man team or as necessary)
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving forklift traffic.
